advertising contributes to the enrichment of a language always, thanks to the creation of puns, slogans, proverbs and proper neologisms.

Here there are two commercials that advertise the same product, the coffee of a famous Italian brand, in two different periods.
In the first spot of the '80s, you see examples of puns created from two proverbs.

The second ad, in recent years, is a good example of linguistic creativity in advertising.
The scene is set in Paradise, and the protagonists are a married couple, their friend and St. Peter.

Below you will find a famous scene from a film in 1956 with the famous Neapolitan actor Toto, entitled Totò, Peppino and the bitch.
In this sequence Totò Peppino told his brother to send a letter to his girlfriend's young niece, who moved from Naples to Milan to study.
As the two brothers of the simple-minded and poorly educated country, the letter will be full of mistakes and will create one of the funniest scenes of the Italian cinema of all time.
